Percussionist Jeni Swerdlow is a dynamic and engaging facilitator, trainer, presenter and performer. Founding DRUMMM in 2000, her interactive, rhythm-based events have captivated thousands of participants at hundreds of events in the U.S. and abroad. She has received numerous grants for her DRUMMM programs.

A Registered Art Therapist (ATR), Ms. Swerdlow has over 10 years of experience facilitating groups and 20 years of experience working with youth and people with special needs. In addition to earning an M.A. in Art Therapy from the University of Illinois Chicago and a B.A. in Visual Arts and Psychology from University of California San Diego, Ms. Swerdlow has studied West African drumming, dance and drum circle facilitation extensively, including training in Senegal, West Africa.
Jeni is the inspiration, the initiator and the mentor for getting people to open their hearts, move their bodies and talk to the drum.”
Ms. Swerdlow currently has ongoing drumming programs with the SF Ballet, Young Imaginations, Opera-Piccola, Berkeley Jewish Community Center, and offers regularly scheduled Drummm Circle programs throughout the Bay Area.
